Quakers snap up loan duo

Darlington manager Dave Penney has signed Ricky Ravenhill and Tommy Wright on month-long loan deals as he attempts to lift his side out of the bottom half of the League Two table.

Ravenhill moves to the Quakers from Grimsby Town while Wright arrives from Barnsley.

"Ricky and Tommy are being brought in on loan, but we're looking at the possibility of making these moves permanent, should things work out." Penney told the club's official website.

"These signings add strength and depth to our midfield and forward lines.

"Ricky is a player I know well (from their spell together at Doncaster Rovers) and both he and Tommy will give us extra options to build on Saturday's win and get ourselves back up the table."
