Quakers seal Nelthorpe deal

Darlington boss Dave Penney has returned to his former club Doncaster Rovers to sign midfielder Craig Nelthorpe on a month's loan.

The 20-year-old left-winger has made 14 appearances for Rovers, 11 from the substitutes bench, since making his first-team debut almost three years ago.

Nelthorpe has previously been loaned out to Kidderminster Harriers, Gateshead and Halifax Town.

Penney told the Quakers' official website: "Craig has the ability to run at and beat players.

"He'll add strength to the squad during the crucial final games of the season."
