Quakers release Hutchinson

Darlington defender Joey Hutchinson has been released after failing to impress Quakers boss Dave Penney.
The 24-year-old made 86 appearances for the League Two side after joining the club from Birmingham City in July 2003, but injuries have meant he has not been picked for the first-team since Penney was appointed boss more than three months ago.
"It's been frustrating for Joey that he hasn't been able to show me what he's capable of as he's been out injured since I arrived," Penney told the Northern Echo.
"As a football manager, there are always difficult decisions to make and this was one of them.
"We've told Joey that he's welcome to continue to use our facilities to try and help him get fit again and, once his rehabilitation is complete, everyone hopes he'll be able to find a new club."
