Quakers reject boss talk

Darlington chief executive John Sotnick claims the club's poor recent results have been concerning, but stopped short in suggesting boss David Hodgson is facing the sack.
Speculation has been mounting over Hodgson's future at the TFM Arena as the Quakers have failed to win a League Two match since their opening two games against Macclesfield and Accrington Stanley.
And with a meeting between Hodgson and the board planned for Monday, it was claimed the former Middlesbrough and Liverpool player could be axed.
However Sotnick said: "On Monday we will have our meeting, as we do each week, when we discuss all issues regarding the club and that includes how the team are doing and their results.
"It's no secret that there is a degree of frustration at the results, but that is part and parcel of being involved in football."
