Quakers move for Kennedy

Darlington have signed midfielder Jason Kennedy from near-neighbours Middlesbrough.

The 21-year-old spent time on loan with the Quakers last season and has now agreed a permanent two-year contract with the League Two club.

Kennedy, who missed a spot-kick in the play-off defeat to Rochdale earlier this month, struggled to make the breakthrough into the first-team picture on Teesside.

"It's a perfect move for me and a chance to play week in week out," he told the club's official website.

"I loved my time on loan."
