Blackburn Rovers youngster Bryan Hodge has joined promotion-chasing Darlington on loan.
The 20-year-old midfielder, who recently had a loan spell with Millwall making 13 appearances for the Lions, could make his Quakers debut against Barnet.
Boss David Penney told the Northern Echo: "Bryan's a good footballer. He's got a good left foot and he'll certainly help us get the ball down and pass it.
"Micky (Cummins) and Ricky (Ravenhill) are only one booking away from a ban and Bryan will give us a bit more strength in depth.
"We didn't want to get caught out in that position, which could have happened, especially with Clark (Keltie) being injured."
