Quakers exit for Proctor

Assistant manager Mark Proctor has decided to leave Darlington in order to join the coaching staff at SPL side Hibernian.
Proctor has enjoyed his two years as David Hodgson's number two with the Quakers, but feels the career opportunities offered by a move to Scotland's top-flight are too good to turn down.
He told the Northern Echo: "I would love to be a manager somewhere someday and maybe I need to go to Hibs to take that next step towards being a manager.
"I was in youth football at Middlesbrough and did well there and I'd like to think Darlington have improved over the last two years too.
"If you look at the end of season league finishes prior to me coming, I'm not exactly sure what they were but they certainly didn't finish eighth two seasons in a row.
"I need to progress as a coach so going to Hibs is a new challenge to me. I want to be a manager one day, but David is going nowhere because he is doing a good job with Darlington."
The move will see Proctor reunited with his former Middlesbrough team-mate Tony Mowbray, who is manager at Easter Road.
