Quakers cut Duke loose

Darlington have confirmed that they have parted company with defender David Duke by mutual consent.
The 28-year-old joined the Quakers in the summer of 2005 from Swindon Town, but has seen his opportunities limited after struggling with injuries.
In total Duke made 39 appearances for Darlo, scoring just one goal.
Meanwhile, Quakers boss Dave Penney is eyeing up a play-off charge after seeing his side win 1-0 at home to Hereford United to move within a point of the top seven.
He told the Nortehrn Echo: "We were three points off the play-offs before the game and now we're a point, so we've got to keep the run going.
"That's 13 games without defeat now and we've had four clean sheets in a row, so we've got to keep grinding the results out."
