Quakers chief slams reports

Darlington chairman Jon Sotnick has slammed reports in the media of major crowd disturbances during Sunday's derby defeat by Hartlepool United.
Pools won 3-0 and, while the Quakers chief admitted there were problems both at the 96.6 TFM Darlington Arena and in the town afterwards, he has hit out at claims in some national newspapers of widespread trouble.
Three people were arrested and a further three people ejected from the stadium during the match.
"I couldn't quite believe what I was reading in the newspapers," Sotnick told the club's official website.
"Events here at the club could not have run any more smoothly and all our staff and the emergency services should be congratulated on how the day ran here at the stadium.
"There were so many positives to be taken from the day. It's a shame the press take this stance. However, the reports of clashes away from the arena were justified.
"We must do everything within our power to ensure theses thugs stay away from attending our football matches."
