Quakers to play Northern League friendlies

Darlington boss Simon Davey has lined up two Northern League clubs for pre-season friendlies.[LNB] The Quakers will go to Billingham Synthonia, currently in the Northern League second division, on Saturday July 31, kick-off 3pm. Admission for the game will be £5 adults and £2.50 concessions, on the gate on the day.[LNB] Darlington will then take on neighbours Newton Aycliffe on Wednesday August 4, 7.30pm.[LNB] Aycliffe were newly-promoted to the Northern League last year and finished ninth in the second division last season. The fixture at their Moore Lane Park ground will mark the official opening of their new stand.
