Quakers to face Sunderland

Darlington will host North-East neighbours Sunderland at the Northern Echo Arena for a pre-season friendly in July.[LNB] The Black Cats will come to the Arena for the second year running as part of Darlington's preparations for the Blue Square Premier campaign.[LNB] Manager Simon Davey has also lined up League One sides Sheffield Wednesday, relegated from the Championship last season, and one of his former clubs, Carlisle United, in two other home friendlies in July.[LNB] Premier League Sunderland come to the Arena on Saturday July 17, 3pm kick-off.
