Quakers sign Huddersfield prospect
Darlington have signed midfielder Chris Atkinson on a six-month loan deal from League One side Huddersfield Town.[LNB] [LNB] The 19-year-old centre midfielder has joined up with the Quakers today and will be in Mark Cooper's squad for Darlington's pre-season friendly at Northern Premier League Division One South side Sheffield on Tuesday night.[LNB] [LNB] Cooper said: Chris is very highly-rated by Lee Clark and he wants him to go out and get some match experience at a decent level.''[LNB] [LNB] Atkinson becomes Cooper's fifth summer signing after the arrivals of James Walshaw, Kris Taylor, Graeme Lee and Adam Rundle.[LNB] [LNB][LNB]
