Quakers sale period extended

Brackenbury Clark & Co were unable to find an acceptable offer before the original deadline of 5pm on Monday, and as such have extended the deadline to 5pm on Tuesday May 5. Administrator Dave Clark is continuing to hold discussions with interested parties and the club are hoping this extra time will give them the chance to receive some formal offers. Clark will be looking at the club's cashflow beyond the end of the season so the club can continue to trade until a sale has taken place. The new deadline is for offers only and is not the date that the club would be closed should no offers have been received by that point. The League Two outfit will continue to play out their remaining fixtures regardless of any offers as they aim to raise further funds in their 'all stars' game on Sunday May 3, while the Quakers are urging fans to turn up in their numbers for the final game of the season.
