Both players are expected to be included in Staunton's squad for Saturday's match at Hereford and brings the number of players drafted in by Staunton and assistant Kevin Richardson to seven. Mulligan, a former trainee at Middlesbrough, is a 23-year-old right-sided midfielder who has been playing in the Northern League with Norton & Stockton. Jones, 22, has had spells at Crystal Palace and Wycombe, who released him in the summer. Richardson has confirmed the club will be attempting to keep hold of teenage defender Moses Barnett for at least another month. The 18-year-old, on loan from Everton, is scheduled to return to his parent club after the game at Hereford.
