Quakers chiefs call on Mulligan
The midfielder, signed from Stockton and Norton last October, has been drafted in as cover for Gareth Waite, who is struggling with a knee injury.[LNB]Waite is rated 50-50 for Liddle and Maddison's second game in charge but defenders Stuart Giddings (groin), Mark Bower (ankle) and Richie Byrne (hamstring) and midfielder Chris Lumsdon (match fitness) all remain sidelined.[LNB]Veteran striker Noel Whelan is not expected to be involved after breaking down again in his second comeback match.[LNB]Whelan, dogged by hamstring trouble, lasted 58 minutes before being replaced by Mor Diop in the recent home defeat to Barnet.[LNB]Darlington, expected to announce a permanent replacement for Steve Staunton next week, have won only once on the road in League Two this season, at Rotherham in January.[LNB][LNB]
