Quakers boss to wheel and deal

Todd succeeded Bryan Robson as Bantams boss in 2004 and guided the club to two admirable 11th-placed finishes in League One despite the financial restraints of a club recovering from administration. Todd frequently utilised the loan market, bringing in the likes of Andrew Taylor from Middlesbrough and Derby duo Lee Holmes and Nathan Doyle to reinforce his beleaguered City squad and he revealed he will employ a similar policy at the Darlington Arena. "I'll have to work the oracle as I did at Bradford," Todd told the Telegraph and Argus. "I brought in the likes of Taylor, Doyle and Holmes on loan who were a lot better players when they left and it will be a similar situation now." "There are an awful lot of players available. They have to realise if they want to stay in football then they'll have to accept what the clubs are putting forward. "Bradford have had a go and splashed a bit of money last season and are cutting back. It's the same with everyone and people have to realise that."
