Quaker Whelan misses Robins clash

Veteran striker Whelan suffered a recurrence of his hamstring injury just three minutes after stepping off the substitutes' bench in the midweek defeat to Northampton and has now played just a little over half-an-hour for his current club after joining in October.[LNB]Staunton, who has drafted six new players into his squad since the turn of the year, could be tempted to make a few changes and will assess whether anyone needs resting.[LNB]Recent recruits Gary Waite and Tadgh Purcell have both made an early impression in midfield and up front respectively and are expected to continue against Cheltenham, who lie third from bottom , 14 points better off than the Quakers.[LNB]Frenchman Mor Diop is expected to partner Purcell up front with Alan White, back in his second spell with Darlington, likely to resume alongside Ian Miller at the heart of defence.[LNB][LNB][LNB]
