Pitch inspection at Darlington
DARLINGTON will hold a second pitch inspection at the Northern Echo Arena at 12.30pm today, ahead of this afternoon's game at home to AFC Wimbledon.[LNB] Local referee Steve Smith inspected the pitch this morning and, due to parts of the playing surface still being frozen, has advised match referee Robert Madley to further inspect it at 12.30pm, when it is hoped the improved temperatures will have completely thawed all of the pitch.[LNB] An announcement on whether the game is going ahead will be made as soon as possible.[LNB]
