Penney's play-off dreams fading

Grappling with the confines of administration and docked 10 points by the Football League, the Quakers languish 12th after the goalless draw when they should be in the middle of a play-off push. Penney said: "We were the better team and we had the better chances. Hatchy (Liam Hatch) put the ball straight into the goalkeeper's arms in the first half and then, right at the end, Pawel (Abbott) could have won it when he put the ball wide at the far post. "I can't fault any of my players. They are playing on under difficult conditions and the 10 points that we've lost look as though they may prevent us getting into the play-offs. But we will keep going until May and see what happens. "These players will carry on until they have no chance of achieving their goal. They all have the correct temperament and that is why they were brought to the club and why they remain at the club."
