Penney targets play-off push

Darlington boss Dave Penney has his eyes firmly set on the play-offs after the Quakers continued their charge up the League Two table with a narrow 1-0 victory against rock-bottom Torquay United.
The win extended Darlington's unbeaten sequence to ten matches and they are now only two points behind Wycombe Wanderers who currently occupy the final play-off spot.
"It was important that we got something out of the game," said the former Doncaster Rovers manager.
"Three points is a great result. We've really got to be winning games and if Wycombe get beat then we need to take advantage of that.
"When you come in and find out the team above you has lost it's like winning the World Cup. It's been a very good weekend for us.
"Now I'm sure there will be one or two teams looking over their shoulders."
