Penney not keen to spend

New Darlington manager Dave Penney insists he is in no rush to strengthen the Quakers squad.
Penney saw his new side defeat Chester in his first game at the helm last weekend before delivering a positive assessment of the squad he inherited from David Hodgson at the 96.6 TFM Arena.
"I've got a big squad of 27 players but everybody deserves the chance to impress me and show me what they can do up to Christmas," said Penney.
"There's no hurry to make signings at the moment because I have been impressed with everyone's attitude and commitment.
"When the window opens in January it might be the case that I already have the players in the building who are good enough to get us promoted. I won't be changing things for the sake of it."
