Penney lands double boost

Darlington boss Dave Penney has completed a double loan signing, bringing in Cardiff City striker Matt Green and Bolton Wanderers winger Johann Smith.
Green, 20, made his Quakers debut in Tuesday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy against Leeds United, having previously made seven appearances for the Bluebirds.
Penney told the Evening Gazette after that game: "It was two weeks since he had played because he has been on the Cardiff bench, but his energy and fitness levels are excellent.
"We needed another striker in and are delighted to have him. He gives us another attacking option and can do well here."
Smith, also 20, ended last season out on loan at Carlisle United and will gain further experience during his time with the Quakers.
