New Quakers trio set to face Shots

Quakers manager Steve Staunton, who drafted in Irish pair Chris Dempsey and Tadgh Purcell last week, has handed all three players contracts until the end of the season.[LNB]Teenage striker Dean has joined from Hibernian, midfielder Waite has signed from non-league Spennymoor and former Leeds defender Madden has been playing in Ireland with Shamrock Rovers.[LNB]All three players will be included in Staunton's squad for the Aldershot match subject to Football League confirmation and clearance from the Irish FA.[LNB]Staunton also hopes to add former Darlington defender Alan White to his squad and talks are on-going with the defender's current club Luton.[LNB]Former Leeds and Middlesbrough striker Noel Whelan will also return for Darlington, whose last five league games have fallen foul of the snow and icy weather, but Dan Groves (foot), Mark Bower and Steve Foster (both ankle) are still sidelined.[LNB][LNB]
