My players gave everything - Boss

Quakers, who were without eight first-team players, looked on course for a well-deserved point until Alan White handled in the area in stoppage-time and Simeon Jackson slammed home the 92nd-minute penalty. Penney said: "They say when things go against you and your luck is down that's what will happen. "I can't fool anyone. We only have 18 outfield players available and a bench full of apprentices, but the attitude of those who came in was first-class. "It would have been easy for them to just lie down and die but we more than held our own in a tough place to play. "We played well in the first half and created three or four chances to score but we were punished at the death. The players are absolutely devastated in the dressing room, it is bitterly disappointing but I can't knock any of them," added Penney.
