Miller seals Quakers move

Darlington have finalised a deal to bring Ipswich Town defender Ian Miller to the club on a permanent basis.

The 24-year-old spent the first half of the season on loan with the Quakers, making six starts for Dave Penney's side.

He also enjoyed a month on loan with Darlington last term as well a lengthier spell with Boston United.

However, Miller made only one substitute appearance for Ipswich, in last March's Championship win against Plymouth Argyle.

Miller started his career with Bury Town before moving to Portman Road after impressing in a trial.
