Miller desperate to rediscover winning habit

Darlington skipper Ian Miller has pretty much seen it all in his three seasons at the Northern Echo Arena and he is now determined to experience the first promotion of his rollercoaster Quakers career.[LNB] Miller is the only senior survivor of the first-team squad that saw their chances of reaching League One snatched away when the club was plunged into administration in February 2009.[LNB] The former Ipswich Town defender is now hopeful that Mark Cooper's side can return to the Football League at the first time of asking.[LNB] I had the chance to leave when the club was in admin, as everyone knows, when Steve (Foster) and myself stayed on, but I'm more than happy to be here this year and to roll my sleeves up and help this club get back into the football league, said Miller.[LNB] People are calling me an experienced pro now and I'm only 26! I can't quite believe it's the fourth season here for me already.[LNB] There are a few of us here from last season and the gaffer has brought in the players he wanted to help get us out of this league because we don't want to be playing Conference football, said Miller who is relishing the prospect of playing competitive games after a tough pre-season campaign.[LNB] You can play as many games as you want in pre-season but you're still itching for the start of the season, he said.[LNB] Newport are on the up, I think they only lost three games last season. They've got a winning mentality and the few we have remaining from last year lacked that massively, so it's a case of getting into that mind-set, getting off to a good start and that will breed confidence,[LNB] said the centre-half.[LNB] Darlington have relaunched the video portal section of the club's official website and are now regularly updating Quakers Player with exclusive interviews and features.[LNB] Darlington fans can subscribe to Quakers Player for as little as 10p per day and the service includes club news and features, as well as match highlights during the course of the 2010-11 season.[LNB] The club's media manager, Martin Walker, said: This is an exciting new service for the club and our fans and we're obviously hoping it will prove to be a popular addition to the official website.[LNB] Quakers Player will provide subscribers with an interesting, behind-the-scenes view of the football club. We'll have regular pre and postmatch interviews with manager Mark Cooper, his assistant Richard Dryden and the Darlington players, as well as chairman Raj Singh and other club personnel.[LNB] We're also aiming to cover fans' nights, other events with our supporters and a range of other features which will hopefully provide a top-class TV service for 10p a day.[LNB]
