Liddle opts for youthful line-up

Craig Liddle has stuck to his pre-match promise to hand youth a chance by handing starts to two youth team graduates Curtis Main and Dan Groves for this evening's game with Rochdale. Striker Main earns his place in the line-up, ahead of the dropped Davis Dowson, after scoring the late equaliser as a sub at Grimsby on Saturday while midfielder Groves makes his full debut for the club. On the bench at The Northern Echo Arena is teenage midfielder Corey Barnes who made his debut last season shortly after Quakers went into administration. In the Rochdale line-up are former Darlington players Scott Wiseman and Jason Kennedy while among their subs is ex-Quaker Adam Rundle.
