Youth team coach Liddle and Neil Maddison were taking charge of their second match since the sacking of Steve Staunton and goals from Tadgh Purcell and Mor Diop clinched an unlikely win over the play-off chasing Shrews.[LNB]Liddle said: "I'm very proud of the lads. We defended well as a unit and threatened on the break. The lads stuck together and Shrewsbury didn't cause us many problems.[LNB]"We seem to perform better against the better sides. We've done the double over Rotherham and Shrewsbury now, which should give the lads belief for the rest of the season.[LNB]"Everyone was happy on the coach coming home and it was great to see that."[LNB]Liddle has confirmed he does not want to take on the the job full time, with Quakers chairman Raj Singh expected to announce a permanent replacement for Staunton later this week.[LNB][LNB][LNB]
