Referee Gavin Ward decided to postponed the clash at Sincil Bank just over an hour before kick-off after being concerned with a frozen part of the pitch just in front of the South Park end.[LNB]The late decision left fans of both clubs fuming but Wright insisted the groundstaff had done everything they could to ensure the game went ahead.[LNB]"They had been out on the pitch from 7am with the blowers, but despite working incredibly hard, there was one area of the pitch the referee was unhappy with," Wright told the Lincolnshire Echo.[LNB]"The ground staff did everything in their power to try to ensure the game went ahead and they deserve credit for the amount of grafting they did before it was called off."[LNB][LNB]
