Hatch back with Darlington
08 Jan 2009 - 15:09:38
Darlington have agreed a deal with Peterborough United to take striker Liam Hatch back to the north-east for the rest of the season.
Hatch has spent most of the current campaign with Darlo and returns to Dave Penney's squad in time for the weekend. The player will hope to boost the League Two club's promotion push.
Peterborough manager Darren Ferguson told his club's official website: "Liam has gone back to Darlington until the end of the season where he has been in good form."
Meanwhile, Darlo captain Steve Foster has rubbished claims he is set to leave the Quakers.
Huddersfield Town have been rumoured to be attempting to sign the defender, but Foster is adamant he is staying at the Darlington Arena.
"There's always rumours knocking about but there's definitely nothing happening," said Foster.
"I came here to try and get the club into the higher division and that's still the intention."
