Darlington manager Dave Penney has made yet another move into the summer transfer market to snap up striker Ian Harty.
The 29-year-old Scotsman had impressed while on trial with the Quakers and has earned a contract as a result of his efforts.
Harty started his career with Hearts and enjoyed productive stints with Stranraer and Clyde, while last season he was on the books of Raith Rovers and Airdrie United.
Meanwhile, another Darlo new boy, midfielder Kevin McBride, is looking forward to the challenge of life in England after moving from Motherwell.
He told the Northern Echo: "It's a new challenge for me and one I'm looking forward to.
"I certainly don't think I am dropping down divisions by coming here and if anything I see it as a move up."
