Darlington assistant-manager Martin Gray has agreed a contract extension until 2011.
The former Quakers midfielder took up a coaching role with the club after hanging up his boots in 2001.
His contract comes hard on the heels of a similar new three-year deal for manager Dave Penney with the League Two promotion-chasers.
"I think that Dave and I make a really good team. We have very similar philosophies on the game, which is great," he told the club's official website.
"I believe that Darlington Football Club is as ambitious as I am and that is one of the main reason I was pleased to extend my contract and my working relationship with Dave Penney."
