Flynn agrees Quakers spell

Darlington have signed Huddersfield Town midfielder Michael Flynn on an initial month-long loan deal.

The 28-year-old only joined the Terriers at the start of the current campaign and has scored five goals in 17 appearances this term, but has recently been troubled by a hamstring injury.

Town's caretaker manager, Gerry Murphy, told the club's official website: "Michael has been injured recently and this is an ideal opportunity for him to get some games under his belt.

"Darlington enquired about him and we felt that it was a great opportunity for him to go up there and get match-fit again. He's moving for a positive reason."
