Fans nights kick-off with Question of Sport

Darlington captain Ian Miller, ex-Quakers star Kevan Smith and head of youth Craig Liddle were at the launch of the club's Question of Sport evening that takes place on Thursday, February 25 at The Northern Echo Arena.[LNB] Liddle and Miller are the opposing team captains at the event that is part of the club's ongoing fans nights.[LNB] Miller explained how he is looking forward to showcasing his sporting knowledge. "I watch Question of Sport on television and shout out the answers but I don't know how I got roped into this," he quipped. "It should be a fun evening with me leading the modern team against the old boys. One things is for sure, we'll be better dressed than them! I think we'll do OK but I can see us struggling on questions about Darlington, especially the older stuff.[LNB] "Hopefully the fans who come along can help pass us a few answers."[LNB] Tickets cost £5 each, which includes food, and can be bought in advance from The Northern Echo Arena main reception, by calling 01325 387000, or emailing commercial@darlington-fc.net.[LNB] Darlington are aiming to hold regular fans nights, on or around the last Thursday of every month, with a different theme each time, providing they're well supported.[LNB] Dusty's Diary Quakers team captain Ian Miller, nicknamed Dusty by his team-mates, today starts a regular video diary exclusively for The Northern Echo.
