Experienced midfielder joins Darlington

DARLINGTON have signed Chesterfield midfielder Paul Harsley on loan.[LNB] Following the signing of Leeds youngster Andrew Milne on loan deadline day, Harsley has joined the Quakers until January 2.[LNB] Darling lost 5-2 at Chestefield last Saturday but Harsley was not included in the home squad.[LNB] The experienced, Scunthorpe-born holding midfielder began his career with Grimsby as a trainee before signing joining his hometown club where he played more than 100 games.[LNB] The 31-year-old then had spells with Halifax, Northampton and Macclesfield before signing for Port Vale in 2006, winning the club's Player of the Year award at the end of the 2007-08 season, and then signed for Chesterfield in summer 2008.[LNB] Harsley has played more than 400 career league and cup games in League One and Two in the last 12 years.[LNB]
