Darlington defender Alan White has hit out at the match officials over his sending-off during the Quakers' 2-1 defeat at home to Mansfield Town.
White was ordered off right on half-time for a clash with Stags striker Jefferson Louis, but the big stopper felt that he had been harshly treated.
He told the Northern Echo: "How can a linesman call a referee over to tell him to send a player off when he's not certain himself what happened?
"For such a big decision to come from the linesman when he's not 100 per cent what happened is a bit annoying.
"I've heard three different things from the ref. I've heard a forearm to the back of the head, I've heard an elbow to the face and a punch to the side of the head.
"If they can't tell me what they saw, how can they send me off? I know what happened and it certainly wasn't any of those three things.
"The lad was pushing me around and I had to try and keep him off me."
