Diop aiming to help the cause

Darlington striker Serigne Mor Diop is hoping his goal in last weekend's FA Cup defeat to Barnet can help prolong his stay in England.
The France-born 21-year-old recently joined from Spanish lower division side Ibiza and he is hopeful he can help Steve Staunton's beleaguered outfit away from the League Two drop zone.
After making his debut against Hereford United in the league, he came off the bench to open his account at Underhill in the 3-1 reversal.
He has also played in Ukraine, Belgium and Cyprus.
Speaking to The Northern Echo, he said: "Of course I enjoyed my goal but I am not happy that I did not help the team to win.
"I wanted to come to England because it is a football country and everybody enjoys football. I'd like to stop here."
