Darlington'S League Two match at Cheltenham this afternoon has been postponed due to a frozen pich.[LNB] The decision by referee Keith Stroud was made after three pitch inspections, at 9am, noon and 1pm.[LNB] Following overnight temperatures of -7c, a section of the pitch along one side of the playing surface remained very firm and dangerous to play on.[LNB] Darlington's players and staff travelled yesterday but as the pitch was clearly unplayable they had few complaints about the postponement, though their supporters will feel aggrieved due to Stroud's late decision.[LNB] The postponement is Quakers' seventh of the season.[LNB] A date for the rearranged game has yet to be announced.[LNB]
