Darlington v Northampton match postponed
DARLINGTON'S match with Northampton Town has been called off after the pitch was deemed unplayable.[LNB] Today's game only had a chance to go ahead after staff and supporters cleared snow from the playing surface at The Northern Echo Arena yesterday. But sections of the pitch froze overnight and the game has been called off.[LNB] The club wish to pass on their thanks to all of the volunteers who helped to shift snow yesterday but sadly those efforts have been to no avail. A rearranged date for the fixture will be announced in due course.[LNB]
