Darlington to face Telford

Darlington have been handed a tricky FA Trophy tie away to AFC Telford who they must overcome if they are to reach the quarter-finals.[LNB] Today's draw paired Quakers with the Shropshire club who are fourth in the Blue Square North and have lost only one league game all season.[LNB] Telford boast former Darlington striker Adam Proudlock among their ranks.[LNB] He did not enjoy his short-lived spell at The Northern Arena, failing to score in 11 appearances during 2008-09, but at the New Bucks Head Stadium he has scored 11 goals in 19 appearances this season.[LNB] Darlington, one of the favourites for the competition, are one of only six Blue Square Premier clubs in the last 16 with Mansfield and Luton both well-fancied.[LNB] Gateshead and Blyth Spartans were handed home ties. The Heed face Dartford and Mick Tait's Blyth are at home to Droylsden.[LNB]
