Darlington's home match against Lincoln City, due to take place at the Northern Echo Arena this afternoon, has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.[LNB] The decision to call the match off was taken after a pitch inspection at 9.30am this morning.[LNB] It is Darlington's third game in a row, and the second successive home fixture, to fall foul of the weather, after the Northampton and Rotherham matches were postponed in the last nine days.[LNB] A club statement thanked everyone who volunteered to help the club clear the pitch in the last week.[LNB] It's incredibly disappointing, said the club's general manager Phil Preston. We've literally done everything we possibly can to get the game on and the help of our fans in the last week has been brilliant.[LNB] The re-arranged date for the Lincoln home game and Rotherham away fixture will be announced in due course.[LNB]
