Darlington expand youth system
Darlington will continue the expansion of their youth department by opening two new advanced development centres in Billingham and Darlington this summer.[LNB] After launching similar ventures in Gateshead and Peterlee the centres will help the club recruit talented youngsters from the North-East.[LNB] Trials for the centres take place on May 15 and May 22 at Hummersnott School, Darlington and June 5 and June 12 at SRC Sports Centre, Billingham.[LNB] Places must be booked in advance, telephone 0845 003 8388 or email admin@elitedc.org.[LNB] Darlington will play two Northern League clubs in pre-season friendlies.[LNB] The Quakers visit Billingham Synthonia on Saturday, July 31 and Newton Aycliffe on Wednesday, August 4.[LNB]
