After enjoying a glimpse of Wembley this week, Darlington manager Mark Cooper is encouraging supporters, including non-Quakers fans, to make the trip to London in a fortnight's time for the FA Trophy final.[LNB] Darlington have so far sold almost 7,000 tickets for the final on May 7 against Mansfield Town, who have topped 11,000 sales.[LNB] Both clubs sent representatives to the national stadium on Wednesday for a media day, with Cooper accompanied by assistant Richard Dryden, players Liam Hatch, Ian Miller, kitman Andrew Thompson and media manager Martin Walker.[LNB] Having experienced Wembley, albeit without any spectators, he is keen for people to back his team against the Stags.[LNB] He said: "I was at Wembley the other day and it would be fantastic if we could get a really good number of people there. I can't guarantee that we'll win, but I guarantee a fantastic day out at an unbelievable stadium.[LNB] "I know Mansfield have sold more tickets than us at the moment and I'd say to anybody that hasn't got a ticket yet, or is thinking about getting one, to go and do it, because it will be a fantastic day.[LNB] "I'd say even if you're not a Darlington fan, get yourself a ticket and have a great day out at Wembley.[LNB] "Hopefully that day will just be the start for us and we'll kick on from there."[LNB] As well as looking forward to the Wembley final, Cooper has cast an eye towards next term and he would like to see more supporters invest in a season ticket.[LNB] Last month, Quakers chairman Raj Singh appealed for supporters to commit to buying a season ticket, which works out at less than £12 a game.[LNB] Cooper said: "The fans that have been supporting us have been great. I know times are hard and the club has been through a lot over the last few years, but hopefully they can see we're heading in the right direction and can see what we're trying to do.[LNB] "I think the price of the season tickets is really reasonable. There are different ways that the fans can pay for them, they don't have to pay for it in one go.[LNB] "We're trying to play some good football and I think next year will be a good one."[LNB]
