MARK Cooper will continue as Darlington manager after holding a successful round of clear-the-air talks with chairman Raj Singh.[LNB] Cooper's position was called into question when rumours circulated claiming he had tended his resignation during Saturday's 1-0 home defeat at Hayes & Yeading.[LNB] Singh insists such rumours are unfounded, and after the pair met at The Northern Echo Arena today, the Quakers chairman is delighted to be confirming Cooper's continued involvement as boss.[LNB] Singh said: Wild rumours began circulating at half-time on Saturday that Mark had tendered his resignation, and nothing could be further from the truth.[LNB] "Mark was simply trying a new approach on Saturday. He's as desperate as we all are for this to work and he assures me he was just trying something different.[LNB] "At the end of the day it didn't work out, but we move on, and we move on together.[LNB] "We've sat down today and had a good chat. There have been approaches from other clubs and Mark is fully aware of that, but he's happy to stay with us and we 100 per cent want him here."[LNB]
