Chandler confident of turnaround

Chandler, on loan from Sunderland, produced a good performance but was unable to prevent his side losing their fifth consecutive game against Port Vale on Saturday. "Once we get that first win we'll be alright. It's massively frustrating for us but we can't dwell on things because we've got a home game on Saturday and then another home game on Tuesday next week," Chandler told the Darlington and Stockton Times. Manager Colin Todd is urging his side to put the defeat behind them ahead of Saturday's visit of Cheltenham. "We have to make sure we keep that resolve and desire. There's no magic formula to turn things around," said Todd. "We're not going to feel sorry for ourselves, we're back in work on Monday and we'll get ready for the next game."
