Byrne injury blow for Quakers

Byrne, a free signing earlier this month following his release from Inverness, was forced out of Saturday's defeat at Bradford early in the second half due to a hamstring problem.[LNB]Alan White, who replaced Byrne at Valley Parade, will continue alongside Ian Miller.[LNB]Manager Steve Staunton has no other new injury or suspension problems but will still be without defender Mark Bower (ankle), midfielder Chris Lumsdon (knee) and veteran striker Noel Whelan (hamstring).[LNB]Quakers, hoping to end a run of three straight league defeats, are chasing their first league win since victory over Rotherham earlier this month in their bid for Football League survival.[LNB][LNB]
