Boss bemoans Quakers' misfortune

25 January 2009 17:52
Quakers striker Pawel Abbott squandered a host of chances and Shrewsbury keeper Luke Daniels pulled off a string of excellent saves after Richard Walker's early opener for the hosts.[LNB]"We actually performed better than we did last week when we scored five," said Penney[LNB]"It's a cruel game. Some of the football we played in the first half was excellent. I couldn't fault any of my players, but we just lacked that killer instinct."[LNB]Penney was also frustrated to see Ricky Ravenhill dismissed for a second booking six minutes from time.[LNB]"The first booking was just a bread and butter challenge," he added. "It seems these days players aren't allowed to tackle."[LNB][LNB]
