Bees striker speaks out on White

Spencer needed surgery following the X-rated challenge which saw defender White red-carded in the opening moments of the penultimate game of the season. "I came up against him before when I was at Cheltenham and he was at Boston, and on that occasion he raked his studs down the back of my Achilles," Spencer told the Hounslow Chronicle. "I thought that was a bit naughty, and I knew I'd have to watch him when we played Darlington. "I even thought about telling the ref to keep an eye out, but left it in the end, and a minute later - bang! He tried to palm it off by asking if I was all right, but he knew what he was doing. "But I had an operation last Tuesday, and it's coming on nicely. The surgeon cut into the side of my head, just above my ear, and just popped the cheekbone back into place. I felt it for a few days, but it's coming on nicely and it's just the scar I can feel now."
