Austin starts for Quakers
Darlington have won the race to land experienced defender Kevin Austin and he makes his first appearance tonight.[LNB] The 37-year-old has been mulling over an offer from The Northern Echo Arena since last week and has also been weighing up an offer from Barrow.[LNB] But, despite no confirmation from Darlington, Austin's name on the teamsheet for tonight's friendly with Workington offers an indication that he has chosen the Quakers.[LNB] Austin looks set to start at left-back, despite preferring to play centrally, meaning that German defender Dominik Werling could start further forward.[LNB] DARLINGTON (4-4-2): Russell; Arnison, Hone, Miller, Austin; McReady, B Smith, Chandler, Werling; Hatch, Wright.
