Strevens not seeking exit

10 February 2009 01:28
Striker Ben Strevens claims he is happy to stay at Dagenham & Redbridge despite reported interest from other clubs. Strevens, 28, has found the net 12 times this season but is not looking to leave Victoria Road. He was the subject of one rejected bid during the January transfer window. "If they want me to stay I'll be more than happy to," he said. "They've turned the bid down and I couldn't be more happier. "To be honest, it did unsettle me for a couple of games and my form hasn't been great in the last two or three games. "It's been hanging over my head for a bit, so I'm just happy the January transfer window is out of the way and I can get on with the rest of my season now."
